Advising and Pre-Registration for the Fall 2024 Semester

Advising begins on Monday, February 12, 2024 for the Fall 2024 semester. The total number of credits earned at the end of the Spring 2024 semester determines your class level and registration day.

Non matriculated students can register for Fall 2024 classes on March 13th.  

Web-registration remains open through Friday, March 29, 2029.

Early Registration for eligible Honors, Banacos and Online students will occur on 2/22. Graduate students will register on 2/23. In-season 1st/2nd year Athletes and Urban Education students will register on 3/1.  Please consult with your program director for specific qualifications. 

Following the steps below will help to ensure a smooth registration process:

1.  Check registration status/class level

Log onto my91桃色. From the Registration Step by Step card,  select step 1:   鈥淩egistration Status.鈥 When prompted, enter 鈥淔all 2024.鈥  This screen will show your class level for the registration dates noted above.

2.  Check IF YOU HAVE REGISTRATION HOLDS

To view what holds you have, click 鈥渧iew holds鈥 at the bottom of the Registration Status page. Holds may be placed on accounts at any time, check this screen often!!!

ALL HOLDS MUST BE CLEARED BEFORE YOU CAN REGISTER!

3.  MEET WITH YOUR ADVISOR/CHECK REGISTRATION PIN

Each class will have their own advising week between February 12 and March 4.

Print your Degree Evaluation to bring to your advising appointment:  my91桃色 鈥 Degree Progress Card-click the DegreeWorks Dashboard link

You must have your advising form signed!  Your advisor/department will issue you an 鈥淎lternate Registration PIN鈥 to use when you register online.

Check your alternate PIN before registration. Although the registration window is not open, you can check the accuracy of that pin by selecting 鈥淪tep 5:  add/drop classes鈥 under the 鈥渞egistration step-by-step鈥 card in the My91桃色 portal.  When prompted, enter your alternate PIN to receive one of the following messages:

If your PIN is GOOD

鈥測ou are not permitted to register at this time鈥

If your PIN is BAD

鈥渁uthorization failure - invalid alternate PIN鈥

Please contact your advisor if your PIN is invalid. Advisors can contact the Registrar鈥檚 Office if a student received an invalid PIN. The Registrar鈥檚 Office cannot give PINs to students.

4.  SELECT/SEARCH COURSES

During or after your advising appointment, use the online Course Offerings to find available courses, view pre-requisites, and begin to build your schedule. The Course Offerings can be found on the Registrar webpage. You may also use the online course search in the My91桃色 portal (Registration Step by Step Card - Step 4:  Search Classes) to find available courses along with available seats. Course descriptions, major restrictions, and pre-requisites for courses can be found in the 鈥淐ourse Descriptions鈥 page of the current academic year鈥檚 University Catalog.

When planning your schedule, remember that students may register for a maximum of 18 credits during the pre-registration period. Additional credits may be added during add/drop at the beginning of the next term.

5.  REGISTER ONLINE, 7AM ON YOUR DAY

Online registration opens at 7:00AM through your my91桃色 account (My91桃色 portal - Registration Step-By-Step card - Step 5:  Add/Drop Classes)

In-Person Registration Assistance:

Registrar鈥檚 Office: Parenzo Hall, 1st floor, Monday - Thursday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
Friday, 8:00AM 鈥 4:00PM

Liberal Studies/Exploratory/Undeclared students:

Go to Academic Advising & Transfer Transition Office on the 1st floor of Parenzo Hall (room 163) for help with registration. With assistance, students may access major-restricted seats.

PERMISSION TO ENROLL FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED EARLY - Students who know they will be blocked from entering a class (major/class restriction, missing pre- or co-requisites, etc鈥.) may submit a 鈥淧ermission to Enroll鈥 form with appropriate signatures before their registration day. This form may not be used for 鈥渃losed section鈥 or 鈥渃losed to your class or major/reserved鈥 registration error messages. Please bring these forms with appropriate signatures or printed emails of approval to the Registrar鈥檚 Office on the 1st floor of Parenzo Hall.

LAST DAY TO WITHDRAW FROM A COURSE

Last Day to Withdraw from a Spring full-semester course is Wednesday,  April 10, 2024!!
