Whether you're interested in creating art or simply enhancing your appreciation, the Art Minor offers a versatile pathway. Designed for non-art majors, this minor allows you to tailor your coursework to fit your interests, with guidance from the Art Department Chair or other faculty members. To complete the minor, you'll need to earn 18 credits in ART courses, including at least two courses (6 credits) at the 200-300 level. Immerse yourself in visual arts, theory, and practice, and enrich your academic experience with a creative edge.

Program Description

The general Art Minor Program is for non-art majors interested in a general or specific area of concentraiton. This minor will be formulated by special advisement with the Art Department Chair or other designated faculty.

18 credits of ART courses are required with at least two courses (6 credits) in the 200-300 level.
